Your pet’s health, safety, and comfort are our primary concerns at Lashley Animal Hospital. Before your pet undergoes anesthesia, we will provide a full physical examination of your pet.

Our veterinarians also recommend that a pre-anesthetic blood profile to be performed to maximize patient safety and alert the doctor to the presence of dehydration, anemia, infection, diabetes and/or kidney or liver disease, as these conditions could complicate the procedure and might not be detected without the blood profile. The results of these tests could also prove to be useful in developing faster, more accurate diagnoses and treatments in the event your pet’s health changes.

Our veterinarians are qualified to perform routine and advanced surgical procedures using safe anesthesia in a sterile environment. Additionally, your pet’s vital signs will be continuously monitored during preparation, surgery, and recovery.
